At UBX Training, we want you to be happy with your gear. Because our products are custom-made to order via our fulfillment partner, we have specific guidelines for returns and replacements.

Can I cancel my order?
Once your payment has been submitted and your order is confirmed, the cancel window is very small. Our print-on-demand process kicks off immediately, sending your order straight from our store to our production partner for printing. This means we're often unable to make changes or cancel an order once it's been placed.
If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible after checkout, and we'll do our best to catch it before production begins. We can't guarantee a cancellation once processing has started.

I ordered the wrong size. Can I exchange it?
Unfortunately, no. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for incorrect sizing ordered by the customer. Please refer to our size guide before making a purchase.
What should I do if my item is damaged or defective?
If your gear arrives damaged, defective, or with a printing error, we will arrange a replacement or a full refund.
- Timeline: You must report the issue within 14 days of receiving your package.
- Process: Email support@ubxtraining.com.
- Requirements: Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the defect.
What qualifies as "defective"?
We consider an item defective if it has:
- Printing errors (misaligned, faded, or wrong design).
- The wrong size or product was shipped.
- Damage occurred during production or transit.
- Significant quality issues with the garment itself.
What's the difference between Direct-to-Film (DTF) and Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing?
We use both DTF and DTG through our Print-on-demand supplier, and we pick whichever gives the best result for the design and product.
- Direct-to-Garment (DTG) prints ink straight onto the fabric, similar to how an inkjet printer works on paper. It gives a soft, breathable finish because the ink sits within the garment fibres rather than on top. This works best on 100% cotton and lighter-coloured garments.
- Direct-to-Film (DTF) prints the design onto a special film first, then heat-presses it onto the garment. This creates a slightly more durable, vibrant finish that works on cotton blends, polyester, and darker colours where DTG can struggle.
Both methods are built to last through regular wash and wear, so whichever process is used, you'll get a workout-ready piece of UBX gear that holds up over time.
What are the drawbacks of Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing?
DTG gives a soft, natural finish, but there are a few things worth knowing:
- Fades faster on heavy wash: because the ink sits in the fabric rather than on top, DTG prints can soften and fade with frequent washing over time, especially on high-contrast designs.
- Best on cotton: DTG performs best on 100% cotton. Blends and performance/moisture-wicking fabrics (common in training wear) don't hold the ink as well, which limits which UBX products it suits.
- Struggles on dark garments: DTG needs a white ink base layer to show up on darker fabric, which can leave colours looking slightly less vibrant compared to lighter garments.
- Less durable for high-movement gear: because the print isn't as thick or protected as DTF, it can show wear sooner on pieces that get stretched or rubbed a lot, like training tees.
What are the drawbacks of Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing?
DTF is durable and versatile, but it has its own trade-offs:
- Slightly stiffer feel: the transfer layer sits on top of the fabric, so the print area can feel a little thicker or less breathable than a DTG print, particularly on large designs.
- Edges can be more noticeable: because the design is heat-pressed as a layer, you can sometimes feel or see a slight edge around the print, especially on close inspection.
- Cracking over very long-term wear: while DTF holds up well to normal wash and wear, extreme long-term use or improper care (like high-heat drying) can eventually cause the print layer to crack or peel.
- Less "worn-in" look: DTG prints tend to age into a soft, broken-in look over time. DTF holds its finish longer but doesn't fade the same way, which some customers prefer and others don't.
Can I return an item if I change my mind?
No. Because our products are custom-made to order , we cannot accept returns for change of mind, personal preference , or if the item was printed accurately to the design.

We partner with a leading print-on-demand supplier to provide high-quality products. Each item is custom-made for you, which means shipping times include both a production period and a transit period.

How long does shipping take and how can I track my order?

Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email (allow 24–48 hours to update).
How long do refunds take?
Once your claim is approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method. They typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
How do I care for my UBX apparel?
To keep your gear in the best condition:
- Machine wash at 30°C (gentle cycle)
- Do not bleach
- Tumble dry on low
- Iron on low heat (avoid ironing directly on prints)
- Do not dry clean
Please note: Minor variations in fabric, colour, or finish can occur between batches. This is a normal part of apparel manufacturing and does not affect the quality or performance of the product.
